Why a Calibration (Ranking) System?
-Over the past ten years, L'Cie has prospered and was successful without the use of military aspects and a ranking system to boot. There was only one position of authority and that is the Eidolon. The Eidolons, at first, were responsible for upholding the clan and keeping the foundation stable. They were granted ALL of the Emperor's powers so that they can do their jobs properly. Alas, some of the Eidolons began abusing this gift and some warriors questioned their position. Because of these factors, the position was abolished twice before being restored by vote in order to help the Emperor. This year of 2021, which is L'Cie's eleventh birthday, the clan proposed a new ranking system called the Calibration System consisting of all the existing roles we have now. At first, the Emperor was reluctant to agree but after hearing them out and pondering about it, the Emperor decided to grant it along with a new position above Eidolon but below Emperor. You'll find out more about it as you read on and all positions are order from lowest to highest, top to bottom as you scroll down.
Note: Keep in mind that calibrating up is optional. If you do desire to move on up, you must prove that you can be an excellent asset in L'Cie. That means participating in clan activities and responding to the call of the higher-ups unless you have a valid reason not to. However, if you are comfortable serving in the calibrate you are in now, that is fine by us. Even so, we still need you to participate regardless. The higher your calibrate is, the more I expect from you. Remember that.

Step 1: The Warrior
-The warrior of L'Cie serves as one part of the core of our empire and since each one is different, they are unique in their own way. A warrior of L'Cie is born when the recruit not only is approved for the branding ceremony, that recruit must pass it, put on the assigned uniform, and choose a nation to represent in the clan. The warrior isn't expected to learn everything about the clan but their sole mission is to improve their skills and obey any and all orders given by any higher-ups. After much time, should the warrior chooses, he or she can go for one of the several jobs we have to offer. These jobs are optional but the warrior in question will more likely be considered for a promotion should he or she meets the requirements and qualifications of the job in question.
Expectations of the Warrior
-Kind-hearted and spirited.
-Will obey any and all orders of the higher powers unless that order is unreasonable.
-Is willing to put aside non-essential activities to do clan activities.
-Will answer the call if a fellow L'Cie is in danger or needs help.
-Will not give up even if the opposition is superior in every way.
-Can balance fun and work.
-Can express themselves freely as long as they have respect for others.
-Will obey any and all orders of the higher powers unless that order is unreasonable.

-Will not give up even if the opposition is superior in every way.
-Can balance fun and work.
-Can express themselves freely as long as they have respect for others.
Step 2: The Paradigm Operator
-These Paradigm Operators are no different from the average warrior of L'Cie. They are like them in every way except that in this case, the paradigm that they chose must be carried out with efficiency and grace. More is expected of these "job holders" than the warriors but not as much as the Eidolon. Additionally, any warrior of L'Cie can attempt to try out for any one of these roles but by doing so, not only must they qualify for the role in question but they will be tested to see if their efforts match their claims. Keep in mind that at this point, all warriors must know a bit more about the clan and its foundation. If you decide to become a Dignitary for that role, you must prove that you can master your role and can teach your fellow job mates the full potential of your role.
History of the Paradigms
-Paradigms, according to our lore, is a series of different responsibilities that one must carry out in order to effectively serve the clan and its people. Back then, the Eidolons were in charge of making sure that everything runs smoothly but after a few power struggles and stress, the system was taken down. However, after finally figuring out a new system, the Eidolons returned but will play a much lesser role. With the new Paradigm Job System, those Eidolon powers are instead divided among the warriors and will only be granted to those who are worthy to receive them. Either the emperor himself or one of the chosen Paradigm Job Dignitaries has the power to grant those roles firsthand. If the warrior wants, a form is available to fill out called the Form of Paradigms in the FORMS sections of the website.
Expectations of the Paradigm Operator
-Kind-hearted and spirited.
-Must perform the job with commitment and poise.
-Must be able to demonstrate their skills to higher-ups.
-Must be able to memorize their role and be ready to learn new things.
-Can take on more than one role if they believe they're ready.
-If a Dignitary, can exceed the expectations of their role and show great potential for a promotion.
-If a Dignitary, can recommend a warrior for their role and the reasoning behind it.

Combat Instructors
-Serving as one part of the core of our empire, the Combat Instructors teaches any neutralite or warrior of all experiences how to improve and perfect their own various style(s) of combat. Since no two people are the same, the combat instructors are aware that some students will pass while others will fail. They will also teach both offensive and defensive capabilities of all levels so that they can assess both the strengths and weaknesses of each and every individual under their training. The Dignitary of this role will be responsible for keeping order amongst the instructors and can report to the emperor of any wrongdoings that may occur. The following requirements are a must if you think you have what it takes.
1. General skill and gameplay must be above average or higher.
2. Must be able to master various combat styles.
3. Must express a willingness to improve and to learn new things.
4. A reminder that their students are human, not machine.
5. A positive attitude in which power isn't everything and perfection does not exist.
6. Must have a belief that anyone can succeed and that a great warrior is not born in a day.

New Liberty Sentinels
-The New Liberty Sentinels are a group of individuals who are devoted to protecting the Grand L'Cie Emperor by putting themselves in harm's way against the evil forces of PSICOM and their followers. There are several requirements to meet in order to be a New Liberty Sentinel. Note that any warrior, regardless of nation or undecided, can join as well. To ensure further security, the warrior in question approved by the emperor, its Dignitary, or the Earth Nation Eidolon will be told of the requirements and his/her duties personally. This role is also in charge on overseeing the process of the PSICOM Recovery Program.
Current New Liberty Sentinels

Forgers
-The Forgers express their creativity on the environment in which each map can tell their own story. For the clan, they are responsible for making various strongholds and other settings while making sure that they work as intended. For entertainment, they are also useful for the creation of new custom games, new works of art, and of course, machinimas. If they so choose, they can submit a proposal to have their maps featured on this very website. These requirements below are a must-have if you desire to be the clan's artist.
1. Must have basic and advanced knowledge on what forge is and how it works.
2. Each map you make must both have a story to tell and a purpose.
3. Each map must be tested regularly to achieve its intended purpose before presentation.
4. If making raid bases, you must take the clan on a tour of them to prepare us for PSICOM invaders.
5. Must save often and use name marks to prevent loss of data and work.
6. Must be willing to help out neutralites who are volunteering their time to help the clan itself.

Recreationals
-The Recreationals focus their efforts to entertain the public by hosting custom games and other fun activities. They are responsible in alleviating any negative energies that is affecting the clan and of course, showing the public that the clan has time for fun and games. This role can also assist the Precursors by letting them access the pool of individuals already there. Since this role appeals to the public directly, our reputation will also be on the line and it will be up to the Recreationals to make sure that it remains positive. The following requirements are crucial if you want the public to fight by your side.
1. Must have a wide variety of custom games and other fun activities.
2. Must have the ability of good crowd control.
3. When doing game nights, you must include both the clan and the neutralites. You may request these game nights to be recorded for Youtube.
4. Must be willing to allow others to put on their games and activities.
5. Must encourage good sportsmanship and a positive environment.
6. Must not be afraid to remove unruly people while providing a valid reason to do so.

Precursors
-The Precursors serves as the eye in the sky for any neutralites who have the potential to become a warrior of L'Cie. For this purpose, they have embodied the heart and spirit of the clan in order to read the multiple auras in each and every individual they make contact with. This role can also assist the Recreationals in which they bring in a pool of random individuals so that the Precursors can determine the trust and worthiness of those said individuals. The most important aspect of any clan is the unification of members fighting for a common cause. Should you wish to accept this role, these requirements are vital to the clan's success.
1. Must have an unbiased mind, heart and spirit.
2. Not everyone is qualified so great decision-making skills are a must.
3. Must be able to use one's instincts. Failure will cause uncertainty to the clan's future.
4. Must spend a good amount of time with said individual(s).
5. Must be willing to take full responsibility should the recruit in question poses a threat to L'Cie.
6. Must know and master the general process of the branding ceremony.

Step 3: The Eidolon
-The Eidolon is the very first step to being a potential clan leader. This calibrate will serve as a small test of your leadership but even so, you must report to your Emperor or Primarch as they hold more responsibility in the clan. In any event that the Emperor or his Primarchs are not present, it is up to you to keep everyone active and perform the weekly schedule. Also, unlike the Primarchs or the Emperor, you have the assistance of the all other nation Eidolons but remember that your people, your nation, look up to you for guidance and to be a role model for them. You are the master of your nation and must demonstrate that with your skills and knowledge of said nation. That's why I expect even more from you should you make it this far and note that at this stage, it becomes more difficult to calibrate up. That is because the number of Primarchs are limited to two and should you calibrate up, expect to work THAT MUCH harder than ever before. Anyway, read below to see what is expected of you.
Eidolon Requirements and Qualifications
-For any warrior that wishes to become a nation Eidolon, please note that there are certain traits and requirements that I must ask of you. You are more likely to be promoted if you have a Paradigm Operator Job. For starters, after you meet all the requirements, you will be tested to see if you qualify. Keep in mind that you MUST abandon your Paradigm Operator job if you want to move up the calibration system. Dignitaries must surrender their roles as well should they decide to go for the promotion too. Please also note that there can only be one Eidolon per nation and switching nations just to be an Eidolon for that nation is strictly prohibited. Here is the full list of everything you need to get started:
1. You must serve at least one month in the clan. Any day of inactivity will NOT count.
2. You must get to know at least the majority of the clan and win the approval and support of the clan. Playing games with them is strongly recommended. If you get no response, that is perfectly fine.
3. You must NOT have a desire to gain power and control of the clan. The Eidolon must use his/her power to fight and protect the people and our concorders.
4. You must treat others the way you want to be treated. You must have an open mind and not see everything just at face value.

Eidolon Rules and Regulations
1. All Eidolons must memorize and master half the information on the website.
2. All Eidolons must seek approval from the Emperor or Primarchs for any MAJOR concerns such as Eidolon removal, talking with other clans, declaring war, etc. All MINOR concerns may be carried out without Emperor's or Primarch's input.
3. Every Eidolon represents the clan's reputation and overall structure. Always remember that the clan comes first so any personal feelings must be set aside for the clan's future. In addition, any decision you make will ultimately be your responsibility.
4. Everyone makes mistakes, including the Emperor and his Primarchs. If either or both make an error, you have the right to correct him/her and make a suggestion.
5. In the event that the Emperor and/or Primarchs are being unreasonable and/or uncooperative, you have the right to question their decisions and if they gets too extreme, a hostile takeover will be allowed and both the Emperor's and the Primarch's powers will be temporarily seized. This rule does not apply if Rule 6 goes into effect.
6. If a foreign power attempts to influence any activity of L'Cie by use of force and threats, you must be the one to put a stop to it and must not be afraid to stand up for your people. This also applies even if the foreign power in question is stronger and more skilled in any way. Failure to do so and/or allowing the foreign power to make decisions is grounds for treason and is considered an automatic entry to the PSICOM list and removal from the clan.
7. All Eidolons must spend at least several hours a week with every active warrior and each other. If the warrior doesn't put forth the effort required, you MUST report them to the Emperor or the Primarchs. With their approval, you now have the right to either warn him/her, suspend him/her for a set period of time, or expel him/her from the clan. Failure to comply without a valid reason will result in either suspension or expulsion from the position without warning.

Eidolon's Oath
-With this responsibility, I will treat it according to the five principles of this empire. I will serve and make my Emperor proud so that the future of this empire will be bright and full of hope. I will also use these powers to set a positive example not only to others but to myself as well. I am also aware that my Emperor or Primarchs must not assist me unless absolutely necessary. If I fail as an Eidolon or leave L'Cie, I must agree to relinquish my rights to those powers and if I may, choose the next Eidolon to take my place. So thank you, great Emperor, for giving me this chance to prove my worth and loyalty as your Eidolon.

Step 4: The Primarch
-Well well well. Feeling like the king or queen of the world, eh? Well, you should because you worked so long and so hard and overcame every obstacle that was thrown at you. Whether you were with this clan for a while or a long time, you demonstrated that you are an extremely valuable asset which is why for this calibrate, you are endowed with ALL of my powers. That's right. You are even higher than the Eidolons and my expectations of you are literally sky high. I trust and depend on you to lead L'Cie to a greater future and should I retire one day, one of you will take my place as Emperor of L'Cie. To you, this is the ultimate test of your leadership to not only lead the people to victory but to earn the respect and loyalty of your people as well. No worries, I have the details below.
Primarch Requirements and Qualifications
-At this stage, only Eidolons are eligible for this rank. There is nothing more to say so here is what I expect from you.
1. All primarchs must adhere and commit to the weekly schedule and must gather as many L'Cie as they could. If you cannot make it, inform the Eidolons to run the day-to-day activities.
2. Just like Eidolons, your power is NOT to be used for personal gain. You are the people's role model so be a positive one.
3. You must be able to lead the clan WITHOUT the Emperor's advice except when requesting approval of major things.
4. You must be able to resolve any conflicts and make the toughest decisions for the future of the clan.

Primarch Rules and Regulations
1. All Primarchs must memorize and master MOST, if not, ALL the information on the website.
2. They say that "with great power comes great responsibility". Since you have EVERY one of my powers, I am holding you the most responsible of them all.
3. Even though the Eidolons represent the clan's structure and reputation, you represent the future of the clan and the will to keep it alive. Since I have been doing this a long time now, I need your help to run the clan with me.
4. Treat this position as you would an Eidolon's so every rule I made for the Eidolons, I expect you to follow them as well. If you encounter any event that you feel requires my input no matter what it is, report it to me RIGHT AWAY.
5. In the event that I do actually retire, discuss who will be the next Emperor. Remember that my work and legacy shall continue with you. Should you decide to disband the clan, that is okay. Changing it up is fine too.

Primarch's Oath
-Just like the Eidolon whom I once was, I will continue to treat the Emperor's powers according to the five principles of this empire. I understand that I must use all the knowledge and skills I gained during my journey as a L'Cie to not only serve and make my Emperor proud but, to prove to my Emperor that I am able to lead as well. I also realized that my Emperor expects more from me than ever and no matter what life and the influences of PSICOM are thrown at me, I shall unite my people to victory, become a shining beacon of hope to the innocent, and prove to the world that you can be strong with a good heart and spirit. Great Emperor, you've seen what I can do and witnessed my hard work through blood, sweat, and tears. However, should I fail to uphold my duties, I understand that my journey begins anew. Thank you for granting me this chance by putting your complete trust and faith in me. More importantly, I thank you for believing in me and my potential. I promise with everything I hold near and dear to my heart that you will not regret selecting me to be your Primarch.
