What is the Historia Crux?
-The Historia Crux is a collection of worlds created by L'Cie to expand their influence. Time travel is permitted so the past, present, and future can all be changed to satisfy the L'Cie's needs or desires. Sometimes, there are hidden worlds that L'Cie had no knowledge on so any place in particular they reach, whether a gift from concorders or conquered from their inimicals, will be added to the Historia Crux.
Roman Coliseum 300 BF
-Time and memory, frozen in crystal. An ancient sword arena developed many years before L'Cie were born. The early emperor believed that he was the first to establish sword play but others may beat him to it. A true master of the blade he was long ago but still is today. At first, the arena was long forgotten but this was one of the first places he built to hone his skills so that it can put to good use when the time has come.
X.A.N.A.'s Lair 200 BF
-Time and memory, frozen in crystal. X.A.N.A. was created as an A.I. to assist a scientist named Franz Hopper with his work: a virtual world called Lyoko. When testing was ready, X.A.N.A. betrayed its maker and imprisons him, thus creating his lair inside Lyoko. Many have failed, strong ones too but the early emperor defeated X.A.N.A. along with his ancient warriors. Even today, the evil A.I. still waits for victims to imprison so that he may harness their energy to escape into reality.
Dahaka's Labyrinth 100 BF
-Time and memory, frozen in crystal. The Fal'Cie Dahaka is in charge of guarding Taejin's Tower in Gran Pulse. They say that no one has ever found their way to the top because no one ever made it back alive. The ancient warriors discovered this maze and had to use their instincts to make their way across. The early emperor got lost at first but together, they have passed the trials. Today, this maze is used for many things like making use of the environment and improving one's memory of that environment.
Bodhum 0 AF
-Time and memory, frozen in crystal. The first base L'Cie has ever built and one of the few places established before the L'Cie clan. PSICOM was the verge of destroying Reach but one man stopped them. He built this base and others after it as a message to PSICOM that L'Cie will not stand aside. It was now time to take back Reach and restore honor and peace back to the neutralite society.
New Bodhum 0 AF
-Time and memory, frozen in crystal. As L'Cie gained in numbers, they realized that Bodhum was becoming too crowded to hold everyone. The leader decided to build a citadel that will serve as both a town and a base of operations. With a foothold established, L'Cie forces quickly gained the support of the neutralites and the citadel became an early safe haven from the evil forces of PSICOM.
Temple of Ragnarok 0 AF
-Time and memory, frozen in crystal. The first temple L'Cie has ever built and one of the few places established before the L'Cie clan. The neutralites needed strong warriors to help combat PSICOM and L'Cie was that response. The leader of L'Cie branded some of them, giving them the strength and courage they need to survive, becoming the first generation established. This also marked the beginning of things to come.
Augusta Tower 100 AF
-Time and memory, frozen in crystal. The main L'Cie data processing super structure. Because the city of Gran Pulse cannot store all the intel and data it acquired, this tower can store unlimited amounts and today, that trend never stops growing. There are several levels in the Augusta Tower and each plays a vital part in keeping the structure well-organized and protected. The leader comes here to access these files with the help of his A.I. Clans, strategies, reports, and anything you can ever imagine...can all be found here. So far, the tower has not been claimed by any enemies of L'Cie.
L'Cie Basic Training Arena 100 AF
-Time and memory, frozen in crystal. The new recruits and current L'Cie all have the option to test their skills in the basic training arena. Everything that is used in actual combat will all be found here. The arena is divided into five courses: Air vehicle, ground vehicle, driving, combat, and accuracy(Sniper). This way, the leader can identify the strengths and weaknesses of the members. He can also provide tips and demonstrations that will not only improve your skill physically, but mentally as well. After the training, almost all members reported an improvement in their skills, both with and without abilities.
Gran Pulse 100 AF
-Time and memory, frozen in crystal. The main city of the L'Cie. It is divided into two sections: Sanctum and Pulse. To preserve the balance, the center connects them to allow all L'Cie to rejoice. However, the city was hit by a dark eclipse which cause supporters to panic. After a detailed and careful investigation, L'Cie forces discovered that their sworn enemies, the Anti-L'Cie, were responsible for the attack. Anti-L'Cie were those that wish destruction and will do anything to see us destroyed. Now, L'Cie are fighting a battle that could last for many years in hope to eradicate the eclipse.
Archytle Steppe 200 AF
-Time and memory, frozen in crystal. A hunter base camp. It is protected by huge amounts of landmass and L'Cie travel in vehicles. This camp is composed of mostly scouts who bring back any type of information regarding enemies, places, skilled players, and so on and it is taken to the Augusta Tower to be stored and processed. L'Cie members are careful to place hidden defenses around the land so any invader would be shot down in an instant. Sometimes, the leader himself enjoys his stay here to take in the fresh air and rules over the land.
Oerba 200 AF
-Time and memory, frozen in crystal. The new main base of operations for the Pulse/Sanctum L'Cie. Named after a peaceful town that suffered from the War of Transgression, where two warriors saved both sides from the end of the world, this base was built in their honor. Everything we ever need is here and will do whatever it takes to keep this base from falling into the wrong hands. The leader himself is pleased with his work and sees an everlasting future not only for his clan but for all allies of L'Cie.
Fal'Cie Court 200 AF
-Time and memory, frozen in crystal. This is where we L'Cie decide the fate of the enemies we defeated and crushed. It regulates on a normal legal court system such as that there are two sides who present their cases: the Plantiff and the Defendent. Lawyers are also presented to both sides either from their own contacts or by the Pulse/Sanctum L'Cie. The judge is none other than the main L'Cie leader himself and he takes all major cases very, VERY, seriously. This court isn't build for defeated enemies but also for conflicts inside the Pulse/Sanctum L'Cie themselves. Your words will determine if you walk out of here innocent or guilty.
Gran Pulse 300 AF
-Time and memory, frozen in crystal. The main city of the L'Cie. After what seems like an endless battle, L'Cie were victorious against their evil counterparts. As the Anti-L'Cie retreat from the city, L'Cie were lucky to find the source of the eclipse and eliminate it. The Fal'Cie were grateful for this victory and celebrate it with parties and all sorts of great things. Out of all places, L'Cie have decided to make Gran Pulse their main base of operations until a new citadel has been constructed. This is to ensure that the city will not repeat history and to keep it safe if the Anti-L'Cie shall rise again.
Ouramasa 300 AF
-Time and memory, frozen in crystal. After the ancient Roman Coliseum 600 years ago, the emperor with his newly established empire are forced to once again prove their worth with a blade. This arena was named in honor after a legendary blade whose handler was worthy and honorable enough to use it. It is said that the blade will give its power to the one who passes its test of strength, endurance, and heart. Before the creation of the arena, L'Cie have discovered the artifact and decided to provide the sword what it wants: the next warrior.
Valfodr's Realm 300 AF
-Time and memory, frozen in crystal. This is where your ability to wield a sword comes in. Warriors from all lands come here to prove their worth and to earn the title of "Valfodr", to honor a very powerful Fal'Cie. The leader himself is very dangerous because unlike others, he has honor in his sword. That allowed him to rise to the top and defeat those who opposed him. All will come but only one will win it all. Very few warriors were able to defeat the leader because they all shared his value of honor. Not only that, the leader himself will present the title to whoever has proven him/herself worthy. If you think you have what it takes to be a master, step up and begin a fight for your life.
Serendipity 300 AF
-Time and memory, frozen in crystal. A wedding chapel that conducted several successful weddings and during its birth, has not witnessed any failures. We L'Cie enjoy the bondage of two players that like each other very much. Security is provided by the empire and in case something goes wrong, they can take immediate action. In addition, the bride, groom, and the L'Cie leader himself, are protected by shields. Only trusted players and, if the reason is legit, their friends are invited. Because balance is important here, it is made in honor of both the Sanctum and Pulse Fal'Cie.
The Lindblum 300 AF
-Time and memory, frozen in crystal. A Covenant flagship named after a ship the Cavalry used to topple PSICOM and their government. It has the ability to travel through both space and time which is how L'Cie were able to change the timeline. This new airbase was given to them by concorders to used as they see fit. Because of the ship's gigantic size, PSICOM quickly panicked and scattered before L'Cie forces were deployed to halt their escape. As usual, the emperor's throne room oversees everything the flagship sees.
Fal'Cie Hotel 300 AF
-Time and memory, frozen in crystal. One of the few places built not by the emperor but by other L'Cie. They will often rest here and recover their strength so that the war may continue against PSICOM. Lots of fun activities awaits for the weary guests and is now one of the few places the emperor can enjoy himself. The neutralites are also welcomed here and rumor has it that it was built in the vision of a very ancient Fal'Cie that once lived.
Shrine of the Fal'Cie 400 AF
-Time and memory, frozen in crystal. This is the new birthplace of the Pulse/Sanctum L'Cie after the Temple of Ragnarok. It has lasted for many generations and it still stands to this very day. The L'Cie leader often comes here for relaxation and often times, to communicate by spirit with the Pulse and Sanctum Fal'Cie, built in their honor. Any intruder who dares to defile this holy shrine will be killed and banished on the spot. This job is performed by the shrine guardians who carefully selects the rising L'Cie. Rumor has it is that you can actually hear the Fal'Cie's voice when you either honor or dishonor their shrine.
L'Cie Meeting Hall 500 AF
-Time and memory, frozen in crystal. Our main discussion hall. All us L'Cie come here to plan just about any event we choose. Several of these events include map projects, new recruits, and upcoming battles/wars. This is also the birthplace of the original four nations of Fire, Water, Earth, and Air. Now, Thunder and Ice are born here as well. All the new recruits report here and listen to information which can all be found in the NATIONS section. Not all meetings are just about us. We also have alliance meetings with other clans with a variety of reasons to ally with us. In case of any emergency, the leader will assemble all L'Cie here to discuss it.
A Dying World 700 AF
-Time and memory, frozen in crystal. Chaos, misery, and destruction were the only words to describe this horrible place. Due to PSICOM's increasing strength, betrayal of fellow L'Cie, and other internal and external conflicts, L'Cie forces are slowly decaying with each passing day. The leader felt nothing but pain because he failed to keep this future at bay. What are we to do now that hope has been lost? We can either restore what we lost or accept this future as reality.
Orphan's Cemetery 700 AF
-Time and memory, frozen in crystal. A cemetery that the Fal'Cie Orphan built to commemorate every warrior, both good and evil, that served L'Cie since the beginning of time. The leader often visits his warriors and wishes every day for his warriors back. His tears of sadness also carries regret and spends every day of his life wishing that some of his warriors were treated better. Even the warriors gone PSICOM are found here in the same grave because the leader's heart is too pure to hate them, even though he doesn't show it sometimes. All we can do is move on and keep the hearts and spirits of all the warriors who truly fought and protected within us.
Palace of Eden 7XX AF
-Time and memory, frozen in crystal. An alternate future of the year 700 AF and the leader's personal grand palace. Just when we are close to permanent shutdown, new warriors and allies present themselves to the L'Cie forces. With their new strength, they combated PSICOM and managed to dwindle their strength in time. Now, the dreaded future now became the very future we swore to protect. This palace once belonged to a great Fal'Cie named Eden and legend has it that his palace will belong to whoever is worthy of his presence. In this case, our leader was the chosen one.
The Ark ??? AF
-Time and memory, frozen in crystal. This is the savior's main base of operations. The L'Cie emperor decides to make this holy place his personal home, where he can offer his prayers to Yggdrasil, the relic of purity. It also watches over the entire world as time flies on but stops in the presence of the Ark. This was the same task as Lightning once carried out as Bhunivelze's savior. Now, it is the emperor's role to continue this task to restore the heart and spirit back into the community.
Academia 700 AF
-Time and memory, frozen in crystal. The first official space city and a descendant from Gran Pulse. After Reach was destroyed by PSICOM later in the year, L'Cie forces quickly retreated to outer space to began reconstruction and reorganization. Now, they have new features and new opportunities to look forward to and hopefully even the odds against the dreaded forces of PSICOM. This city was named after a very advanced high-tech city that is dedicated to inspire others to become L'Cie.
Anima's Vestige 800 AF
-Time and memory, frozen in crystal. L'Cie forces have now discovered a new planet called Requiem. Once the home of Anima, an ancient Fal'Cie that lived 800 years ago, this is now our new official meeting hall. Because of its massive space, the leader is able to better organize Anima's home than the meeting hall he built on reach 300 years ago. With better security, the leader is impervious to any assault. Now, the leader is improving his clan and with one good thing after another, the future looks even better. The leader sometimes comes here to offer his prayers and thanks Anima for allowing him to keep his new home and meeting hall.
Etro's Tower 900 AF
-Time and memory, frozen in crystal. A vast super structure that is even more powerful than the Augusta Tower itself. With more advanced technology, the L'Cie A.I., Alyssa, can now process data at lightning speed and ensures the highest quality thanks to the divine power of the Goddess Etro. It was built and named in her honor so that one day, it will belong to whoever Etro chooses. In this case, the L'Cie emperor is the chosen one and he now sits there overlooking the never-ending flow of information and protecting it from PSICOM aggressors.
L'Cie Advanced Training Arena 1000 AF
-Time and memory, frozen in crystal. Back on Reach, the training arena only provided the basics that even a newbie can become an average player. Here on Requiem, the L'Cie leader decided to take the training even further and has birth an improved variation which will deliver promising results if used the right way. The only difference is the subtraction of the driving course but all others have been redesigned to truly prepare L'Cie forces for virtually anything in their path. In short, this place will take you to the next level.
Shrine of Etro 1100 AF
-Time and memory, frozen in crystal. 1100 years ago, the goddess of Etro lived in Valhalla where she summons Lightning to be her guardian and light. A grand shrine was discovered the same years later and L'Cie forces were shocked to discover that this shrine belonged to the goddess herself. Legend has it that any warrior with 100% pure heart and spirit will receive Etro's blessing and are destined for many great things. But one question still remains unanswered: Why here on Requiem but not on Reach? Lucky for our leader, he was chosen to become Etro's next guardian and save the world as Lightning once did long ago. Now, it is a holy place for new warriors to come.
Silent Hill ??? AF
-Time and memory, frozen in crystal. It was once a peaceful town where residents enjoyed themselves and little crime was committed. Over the years, the town underwent a change where people began to mysteriously disappear and was rumored that it was infested with monsters not of this world. L'Cie forces were dispatched to investigate these anomalies so they can gather evidence on whether this is PSICOM's doing or just another paradox.
Silent Hill (Nightmare) ??? AF
-Time and memory, frozen in crystal. L'Cie have now discovered that in certain intervals of time, the town changes to what some may describe as hell. It was said that this version of the town can bring your worst fears to life by manifesting itself into physical forms. After spending enough time to realize the horrors, L'Cie were fighting a battle to stay alive and hoped to find a way to escape this horrible place.
Halo 2 Anniversary
Atomos' Cradle 1500 AF
-Time and memory, frozen in crystal. The first map of the L'Cie born from the new generation of console gaming. With new abilities and uses, this meeting hall is twice as big as the previous which allows more variety in the empire. The emperor greatly admired his work and often comes here with his new armor to take in the fresh air that his new mini garden can provide. This cradle marks the beginning of a new age of the Pulse/Sanctum L'Cie.
Luxerion 1600 AF
-Time and memory, frozen in crystal. The third city of the L'Cie empire named after one of the last remaining cities that survived the chaos infusion 1100 years ago. After the savior defeated Bhunivelze, she took the city to a place where no evils like PSICOM would reach it. Halo's gravitational field, the sun's rays and the nearby planet all made life in Luxerion possible and it was said that it was the biggest city the emperor has established. Until a new city surpasses this one, Luxerion stands as the new capital of L'Cie.
Temple of Bhunivelze 1700 AF
-Time and memory, frozen in crystal. It was said that the god, Bhunivelze, was the sole creator of the Fal'Cie which then gave birth to L'Cie. Balance was important to him which means that in truth, there are actually TWO types of swords instead of one: light and darkness. The new generation of L'Cie now has the option to be branded by either but the sole purpose now is to live harmoniously with that balance. The journey itself may prove more difficult than ever but if the great Bhunivelze became legend by this lesson, then L'Cie can be legend too.
